About the position:
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PDK, Modeling, and Design Rule Architect to join their global team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and leading the development of Process Design Kits (PDKs), creating accurate device models, defining design rules, designing test keys, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and new employees.

Responsibilities :
- Lead the architecture and development of Process Design Kits (PDKs) for advanced semiconductor processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process integration, device, and circuit design to establish PDK requirements and drive alignment on key deliverables.
- Develop and validate device models using advanced TCAD tools and simulation techniques, ensuring accurate representation of process parameters and device characteristics.
- Define design rules for layout, routing, and device design based on process capabilities, technology requirements, and industry standards.
- Design test keys to ensure the functionality and reliability of semiconductor devices, and collaborate with testing teams for validation.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and new employees, fostering their growth and development in semiconductor technology and design methodologies.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to transfer knowledge and best practices related to PDK development, device modelling, design rule development, and testing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology, continuously enhancing PDKs and design methodologies to meet evolving requirements.
- Contribute to technology development and process improvement efforts by analysing data, identifying opportunities for optimization, and providing recommendations to the process engineering team.

Requirements :
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience in semiconductor process technology, device modelling, and design rule development, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
- Proficiency in TCAD tools and simulation techniques for device modelling and characterization.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor testing methodologies and experience in designing test keys.
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and new employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in training and mentoring engineers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to architect complex technical solutions and drive projects to successful completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
