Equipment Service Technician

Provide first-line support in key operational activities such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical equipment. The technician plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and high levels of customer satisfaction while actively developing technical skills and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Achieve a First-Time Fix Rate (FTFR) of over 95% while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records using operational and service management tools.
- Configure, operate, and perform basic analysis using system software.
- Conduct basic fault-finding and escalate complex issues within agreed timelines and SLAs.
- Follow and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) best practices.
- Produce clear, concise service reports and submit operational data.
- Utilize internal processes and escalation channels as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree or formal qualification in mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic disciplines.
- Prior field service experience in a related or technical industry.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to align with internal procedures.
- Self-driven with good problem-solving and escalation judgment.
- Team player with mentoring capability.
- Good verbal and written communication in both local language and English.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use relevant software tools.
