About the Role
An industry-leading technology company is seeking a High-Speed Analog IC Design Engineer to take on a technical leadership role in the development of next-generation optical networking products. You will join a well-established, highly skilled team driving innovation in 100G, 400G, and 800G optical transceiver modules for data center and enterprise-scale applications.
As the team embarks on the creation of a new platform, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in defining, designing, and delivering cutting-edge analog/mixed-signal ICs for high-speed optical transmission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and implement high-speed analog and mixed-signal IC blocks in advanced CMOS technologies
- Drive circuit innovation across areas such as SerDes, PLLs, CDR, TX/RX, OpAmps, OTAs, bandgaps, and LDOs
- Own the development cycle from concept through to volume production
- Perform lab bring-up and characterization of prototype chips
- Collaborate closely with layout engineers; strong understanding of layout considerations is essential
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership within the group
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on analog/mixed-signal IC design experience
- Strong proficiency with Cadence design flow
- Proven track record in CMOS analog circuit design (bandgaps, OpAmps, OTAs, LDOs, etc.)
- Experience with chip bring-up, lab testing, and debug
- Solid understanding of transmission lines and microwave theory
- Ability to drive projects independently and mentor junior engineers

- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a high-tech R&D environment
- Familiarity with the dynamics of start-up style product development within a global team
