Project Overview
Our client, a leading semiconductor company based in Munich, is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer with strong PCB design capabilities to support ongoing lab automation and component verification (CV) activities. The engineer will contribute to the development and testing of hardware and software solutions used to verify semiconductor components.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for executing defined work packages within internal lab development projects. Key tasks include:
- Collaborating with internal teams to define technical requirements and specifications
- Designing schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Creating 3D mechanical models using Autodesk Inventor
- Assembling PCBs, including manual soldering and reflow processes
- Performing verification and evaluation of electronic test circuits
- Analyzing measurement data using MATLAB and Python
- Developing test and automation software in LabVIEW and Python

- Evaluation reports and scripts
- LabVIEW and Python code
- Technical documentation
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
- Advanced skills in Altium Designer for schematic and PCB design
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for CAD modeling
- Hands-on experience with PCB assembly (manual and reflow soldering)
- Familiarity with lab measurement equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, VNAs, SMUs)
- Strong data analysis capabilities using MATLAB and Python
- Experience in automation or instrumentation programming using LabVIEW
- Understanding of power electronics and semiconductor technologies (IGBT, SiC-MOSFET, GaN)
- Knowledge of international engineering standards (VDE, IEC, JEDEC, IEEE)
