Job Summary:
As a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing precision timing circuits used in high-performance networking, communications infrastructure, and ultra-low power mobile applications — including wearable devices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and verify complex analog and mixed-signal blocks, leveraging cutting-edge MEMS technology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design analog and mixed-signal circuits based on architectural requirements and technical specs
  • Contribute to the definition of circuit architecture and support full-chip integration
  • Perform simulations, analysis, and verification (pre and post-layout) to ensure robust performance and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to guide layout implementation and ensure design integrity
  • Document design blocks and lead design reviews
  • Participate in chip bring-up, validation, and characterization, with a focus on your owned blocks
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Test, Characterization, and Applications teams to support silicon validation
  • Provide support on other projects as required by business needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years
  • Strong academic background with proven silicon-based research/projects
  • Deep understanding of CMOS analog design and noise analysis
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • PLLs (Integer-N or Fractional-N)
    • Sigma-Delta ADCs
    • Temperature sensors
    • Analog/Digital filters
    • MEMS or Quartz oscillators
    • Sub-threshold/ultra-low-power circuits
    • Low-noise regulators and bandgaps
    • High-speed output drivers
  • Experience overseeing layout for critical analog blocks
  • Proficiency with Cadence analog design tools
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB and VerilogA
