Job Summary:


As an Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team developing precision timing circuits that power everything from high-performance networking equipment to low-power mobile and wearable devices. You’ll work at the forefront of MEMS-based timing technology, contributing to innovative circuit designs and collaborating across engineering teams to bring complex products to life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design analog and mixed-signal circuits that meet architecture and spec requirements
  • Contribute to circuit architecture and support full-chip integration
  • Perform design calculations and simulations (pre and post-layout), with consideration for DFT and DFM
  • Partner with Layout Engineers to ensure best practices are applied and layout quality is maintained
  • Document designs and lead technical reviews throughout the development cycle
  • Support chip bring-up, debug, and evaluation, focusing on your owned circuit blocks
  • Collaborate with Product, Test, Characterization, and Applications teams to ensure successful validation
  • Assist with additional projects based on business needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong academic record with hands-on silicon-proven research or design projects
  • Solid understanding of CMOS analog design principles and noise analysis
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • PLLs (Integer-N / Fractional-N)
    • Temperature sensors
    • Sigma-Delta ADCs
    • Analog/Digital filters
    • Differential/cascode amplifiers
    • Low-noise buffers
    • High-speed output drivers
    • Sub-threshold/ultra-low-power circuits
    • Low-noise regulators and bandgaps
  • Proficiency in Cadence analog design tools
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and VerilogA
  • Experience overseeing layout for key analog blocks
