Project Manager

ROLE:                    Project Manager

LOCATION:         Munich, Bavaria

SALARY:               Negotiable

DURATION:        6 months

Responsibilities:

• Manage the development of a design system in accordance with standard processes and tools.
• Lead medium-complexity projects, typically involving around 10 team members, potentially across multiple locations.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads to define and refine project requirements.
• Apply professional project management methodologies to plan, execute, and control projects with a focus on performance, quality, cost, and risk.
• Facilitate effective communication and proactively address barriers to agreement.
• Monitor and maintain efficiency metrics and reporting.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform project management tasks onsite at least 40% of the time each month.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing medium-sized projects.
• Preferably several years of experience in the semiconductor industry, either as a project team member or project manager.
• Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.
• Project management certification (e.g., IPMA or PMP) preferred.
• Availability to start as soon as possible; potential for contract extension.
