As Director of Engineering Quality, you will drive strategic improvements across engineering processes, quality metrics, and controls. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on advancing quality standards throughout a fast-paced, high-tech organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution and implementation of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), empowering teams across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and support the development of Work Instructions.
- Define and implement robust Quality KPIs and control systems to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Organize and lead company-wide Quality Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Support certification processes and participate in customer audits as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to elevate quality performance.
- Deliver regular quality KPI reports and insights to senior management.
- Provide training, tools, and guidance on quality principles to engineering, applications engineering, and technical marketing teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in quality management within a software development (CI/CD) and/or semiconductor hardware environment.
- Familiarity with international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 26262, and others relevant to the automotive and semiconductor industries.
- Proven track record in building or scaling Quality Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of quality methodologies such as LEAN, 8D, and Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams.
- Confident engaging with key stakeholders to align quality strategy with overall business goals.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to R&D and field sites around the world.
- A passion for excellence and driving sustainable quality performance.
Education:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Applied Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science).
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence across teams and geographies.
